Glory!

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and WE BEHELD His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH." (John 1:14) 

The Word of God, all that God had said and given in the Spirit, was made flesh (Christ Jesus). All the glory and beauty in the Word of God was made manifest through Christ Jesus. And so many missed knowing God through Christ Jesus.

# How could people have missed this, you may ask?

Many still think glory is just a ball of lightning or the halo above the head. GLORY INDEED IS LIGHT, BUT CONTAINS VIRTUES. If you are not also very careful in knowing what to look for, you too might miss knowing God through His Word made flesh, i.e., Christ Jesus. 

Today, Christ is still with all of His children, covering us with His glory. The pillar of cloud and fire that went with the REDEEMED of the LORD (i.e., Israel) from out of Egypt in Exodus 13, was a physical manifestation of the glory of the LORD. But when Christ Jesus, the same LORD appeared in the flesh, they couldn't believe their eyes. They thought He was a joke, and sadly, many still think like that today. 

# What does the glory look like in flesh?

The glory of the LORD then was very physically manifested, but now it's spiritually discerned. THE GLORY IS THE CONTAINER OF GOD'S NATURE (the manifest presence) THAT BRINGS REST. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance: against such there is no law." (Gal 5:22-23)....and "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever." (Psa 23:6) 

# The signs of His Glory.

If you can't physically see the glory of the LORD in form of clouds, fire, thunder and lightnings, then look for these virtues in people and you WILL HEAR, SEE AND KNOW the LORD.

Don't be deceived.

Be spiritually minded: for we walk by faith, and NOT by sight (2Co 5:7).

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." (1Co 2:14)

If by now you are still completely led by only what you can see, then you surely will be deceived in no time. You have to be able to hold the spiritually unseen and physically seen manifestation of things in your mind at same time, else, you're still carnally minded. 

The Connection: 
Spiritual beings manifest themselves in physical things, while the physical beings manifest spiritual virtues/fruits. A physical man that is spiritually minded, produces spiritual fruits that generate power that bring rest all around.
