Creation And Formation.

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." Gen 1:1-2.

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground,.." Gen 2:7.

[To create - means to bring into existence :: To form - means to give shape, and fill up.]

This topic is a challenging one but worth sharing all the same. The account God gave us of creation is for us to learn of Him and live like Him to become like Him. So here are my thoughts on same account.

The Great Gap.
Reading through the first book and first two chapters of the book of Genesis, we tend to miss this gap between when God started His Thoughts of creation within His Mind and what is first formed within His Heart that were formed.
We know that Gen 1:1 gave us a complete summary account that God created everything. But reading the second verse Gen 1:2, which just started off at a point "within" where the Spirit of God was already in the process of formation, and not exactly at the very beginning of the process. What we see happening from Gen 1:2 onward is the "mix" of creation and formation. Now you're saying "what do i mean by that?". Here are my thoughts on that:
"The process of Creation was in the Mind of God, and Formation was done by the Spirit of God.". What I am saying is that, the Mind of God started the thoughts that were built up in His Heart which the Spirit of God formed. I hope I am convincing enough. I am saying that the Mind and the Spirit of God, were present at the beginning of everything - heaven and the earth. The Mind of God is the Word, the Will of God, Which is Christ. "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ." 1Cor 2:16. This Lord is Christ. The Spirit is the Spirit of God,which is same in Christ, (1Peter 1:11).

God's Mind created in His Heart all that is formed.
(The Mind direct the Spirit. Gen 1:3 onward.)
As the "Thoughts" are being created in the Mind of God, they are simultaneously formed in His heart by His Spirit, who brought everything to exist in forms and shapes. "And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us." for we know that God's Spirit resides within our hearts that is, our spirits, because we are created in God's own very image, (Gen 1:26). "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God." 1Co 2:9-10. Creation(Thoughts of God) goes on forever in the Heart of God, and His Spirit knows these Thoughts.

Created in God's own image!?
So here's my thought - if we truly believe we are created in God's image, then we need to think thoughts of God and do things of God like God gave to us these creative-creation example of the Earth. And out of the billions and billions of stars and planets, God only gave us an exemplary demonstration with the planet Earth. Our solar system alone is but a dot in all God has created and formed. Many of these planets are void and formless right now except the earth, made fit for life. And now the question is "who is going to form, shape and fill up these other planets in all these galaxies!? It is anybody that carries within him the Mind and Spirit of Christ!
These are just my thoughts, and i believe we have lots to do in eternity, with and for God! Or what do you think? "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD." Isa 55:8. And these are just my thoughts. Shalom.

The Tree of Knowledge.

"And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil." Gen 2:9.

Do you ever wonder why God created these trees? When faced with evil, what kind of thoughts race through your mind? Are they like mine: "Lord,Why all these evil!? Can't You do something quick!?" followed by, "God,what have You created!?" and so on. Many today don't want anything to do with God because of the evil/s they behold daily. They even wonder if a loving and kind God truly exist. All they know of is evil, even when your watch the news and movies "created" today, all we see is the knowledge of evil at its best,or should I say,at its worst?

But come to think of it, isn't the knowledge for both, good and evil? Is it that we only have men (i.e, evil men) with vast knowledge of evil ruling and running things? Where are the good men? Are they all dead? Is there not suppose to be at least a balance in nature between good and evil, men?
In a general sense, what are we doing with the knowledge we have? Is it to pile up riches for ourselves? Isn't this what has taken over both good and evil men? That many good men are transitioning into the evil ones. Glory, fame, riches, power, honour, etc is what many(we) are all seeking relentlessly day and night.

The good men believe that as soon as they "grab" power, fame, glory, etc they will change the world for good. This has only led millions to the "trap of old". But what did Christ do when faced with the exact same challenge? "Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." Mat 4:8-10
Christ simply directed the solution and fix to the worship and service of God. Check yours, are you in synch with Christ? Have you left your self-ish and endless pursuit of wealth, power, fame, etc to focus on God, the Creator of everything, and has given ALL these we seek into the hands of His Son,Jesus Christ. Seeking God through His Son/Lamb, who has received all (Rev 5:12), in worship and service is the only fix.

Ambassadors of nations represent their kingdoms in power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory and blessing, anywhere and everywhere they go! Choosing to worship and serve God in Christ is a great honour given to believers. We are supplied abundantly and beyond all measures because we belong to God's kingdom (Phil 4:19). This is the knowledge(of good) that will change the world.
The purpose of creation is to reflect God's glory in this material world, and not to seek these glory(p,r,w,s,h,g and b) elsewhere in order to change the world. Any God-seeking nation is bound to remain at the top of nations. Shouldn't we "apologize" to God and seek Him in worship and service, for this change for the good we desperately need?

The Church: Space & Place.

Is your church a public space or place?

Does this question come to your mind while in your church? And have you resolved this? or did you just throw this thought aside and continue on? Note that I am not saying if your church is in the public space. Have you ever read of this in the Bible about what Christ did when He was confronted with the exact same situation?

The Church.
Believers of Christ are the Body of Christ(1Cor 12:27). And the coming together of believers of Christ in a "place or space" to worship God alone, is called Church. The Church therefore is the Body of Christ dedicated to the worship of our Father, God in heaven. The church is the "PRIVATE" property of Christ - the kingdom of God! And It Must retain the ordinances and protocols of worship, of the Kingdom. The Church, therefore is a private space/place open to the public, and not the other way round as we have it today.
"For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." Rom 14:17, and with all of the "displays" we have in many churches today, where is the righteousness in the presence of God? Or have we forgotten that our coming together is to worship God IN His presence, and not His absence!? The fullness of joy and peace is in His presence(Ps.16:11), not His absence. The "meat and drink" of pleasure we display before God is meant for the outside of the worship space.
"And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise."(John 2:13-16).
What Christ is saying here is that the place of worship (i.e, the Father's house) is NOT the place of display of all kinds of immoralities before the Father, but of reverent fear and adoration of God.

What else can I say about the church of Christ? What else than to encourage you in carefully considering your place of worship, and make the right corrections. Do as Christ did,and stay the course of worship of the Most Adorable Father, the Creator of everything!

Same Purpose.

"For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth." Rom 9:17.

Reading through the whole chapter of Romans 9 we see that God has made us for these two reasons;
  1. Make His Power known, and
  2. Declare( and establish) His Holy name throughout all generations.
1- To make His Power known.
Power {Dunamis}- a.k.a force,ability,abundance,meaning,might,deed,strength,rule,works,etc.
God's power created the whole heaven and earth, and many do not know anything about it or have experienced it. Our receptors (or sense of perception) changed since the first Adam "ate" of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen 3). From then onward man now broadly and generally categorize everything into these subgroups of Good and Evil. Man's world revolves around these two forces of good and evil, and has permeated into everything he does. But should this be the same for the redeemed, the born-again believers?
As believers we have this understanding, that God is Sovereign and answerable to no one: dead or alive. He created everything for a purpose - to show to us of Himself. The fallen man has chosen to experience God in "good and evil" measures. To them fire is either good or bad depending on their circumstance. To us believers everything becomes more radiant and beautiful as we get to know more and more of His Person and His "principles of perfection",that is, His Word. This is His original plan and purpose for man forever, even before the fall. He created us as "vessels of glory" to behold and pour Himself into, for He only is Pure and Holy.

The fall of man brought sin with it and therefore good and evil measures( or should I say the "sin of measuring things of the Holy and True God based on good and evil"?! Just a thought ;), making man into a different vessel - a vessel of wrath and dishonour set for destruction. We came into this world through sin as vessels of wrath, fitted for destruction .
" What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:" (Rom 9:22).The scriptures says that Pharaoh was raised by God, as a vessel of wrath, a vessel God would pour His wrath into in the demonstration of His Power, while at same time showing His mercy unto the vessels of mercy, the Israeliltes.
From the Throne of judgement, the hardened hearts(that is, the vessels of wrath) will always experience the force of God's power against them, while the believers (that is,the vessels of mercy) will always experience His mercy. We are all vessels God is pouring Himself into, and He answers to no one.Everyone must answer to Him: "Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth."(Rom 9:18). Check your heart, is it hardened against God? Pharaoh's heart was hardened against God and it led to the destruction of pharaoh and his kingdom.

2- To establish His Holy (fearful) name.
God's demonstration of His power brings His reverent fear into the hearts of men, which should result in the worship and blessings of His Holy name. It's not a complicated demand, but could be if you don't have understanding of the knowledge of Him. Many have received revelations from Him through studying and hearing inspired messages and then have quickly forgotten. No wonder we're seeking for God everywhere but not in our hearts.
Is your heart hardened just like that of pharaoh? After several persuasions and power demonstrations(called plagues), that gradually wrecked the whole economy of Egypt, pharaoh wasn't even moved, and this eventually led to his destruction. [Read Exodus chapter 7 - 12]. Everyone's heart that his hardened against God suffers greatly. Anguish, pain, lack and sorrow is never far from them until they repent. The bible contains many accounts of what God has done, in time past and they are written for us to bring the reverent fear of God into our hearts. Either way you choose, the purpose of God won't change because of anybody. It's forever established in heaven and here on earth.Amen.

In summary, the Purpose of God by election,is for His Holy name sake. To show and demonstrate His Power in the camps of those that hate Him and the Riches of His Glory through His children for the whole world to see and fear Him(God). So therefore are we all Called to do this Work. You part is to accept His call on your life. Are you being raised right?
"And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her."(Eze 28:22).

Walking Right

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. ...That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Rom 8:1,4.

How do we walk?
First off, the Holy Spirit of God dwells Only where the Word of God is. For the scriptures says that He (the Holy Spirit) is sent to be another Comforter (John 14:16,26) that will teach and bring to our remembrance all that we have heard from or read of Christ. Therefore the Holy Spirit to believers is a Comforter that teaches and remind us of the Word of God. Without the Word, He can't do extra-ordinary things for you.
Now let me sight an example: Rom_12:19-21 says "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." Here we see that when we do good( i.e, what the Will says) to our "enemies", we put judgement on them. And if this fire comes on any living creature without blood covering, they most likely will loose their lives. The Ark has a mercy seat covered with powerful cherubs that execute the judgment of God. If they see the Blood they will passover, otherwise they will destroy or consume anything before them. This is what worship (war-ship) does all the time. Worship brings the presence of the Consuming-Fire God( the Throne of Judgment) to bear on our enemies. Praises and Prayers too.

The Fire.
This fire is (in) the presence of the Consuming God Himself (Ezk 1:4-28). Moses saw it as the "burning bush" ( Exo 3:2); Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego met Him in the fiery furnace (Dan 3:25); Isreal and the pillar of fire ( Exo 13:21); and the Church at the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4). There is a very huge need today for the church and true believers to skillfully study, apply, and demonstrate in our praises, worships, teachings, prayers, etc the Word of God to the world. Christianity starts at the entrance of the Word of God. This same Word is the Will of the Father, and it pleases Him so. In the Word of God dwells the fullness of God. God always honours His Word. It's the "burning coal of fire" (Ezk 1:13), "the Little Book" (Rev 5,10:2, Ezk 2:9).
The Word (burning coals of fire) and the Spirit (the Lamps) can never be separated.
"And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God." Rev 4:5.
The "seven lamps of fire" which represent the Spirit of God, activates/processes the Word. In the Church of the Living God,this fire Must never go out. We must continually offer up the Word in Worship of the Father for that is what He seeks (John 4:23-24).

The Power.
The Holy Spirit speaks Only one language, and its the Word of God. To "be filled with the Spirit" is simply to be filled with God's Word, and this is Christ. The Word of God, which is Christ, fills you up with the Spirit of God (John 6:35, Mat 5:3). The combination of these two, that is the Word and Spirit, will ignite this fire which releases Power to the Church, the Body of Christ. It brings us to the presence of the Father, and  Power is released unto the Church in seven folds: 1- Power. 2- Riches. 3- Wisdom. 4- Strength. 5- Honour. 6- Glory. 7- Blessing (Rev 5:12). With these seven, which is the full manifestation of Christ, the Church can boldly witness without fear of any persons, place or things, while the kingdom continue to expand. With them we can overcome anything.

In conclusion, what am saying is that the word of God,given to man brings His Spirit to fire-up and release power unto the Body of Christ for supernatural exploits of signs and wonders. The devil doesn't have this power,we the Body of Christ has!

Sons of God

"He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: " (John 1:11-12).

How do you know that Jesus is the Son of God? Still a challenging question today.
How did Jesus prove to be the Son of God? for without proofs, it's blasphemous to make such a claim. "The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God." (John 19:7). The Jews are saying to Jesus,"if you are truly what you claim to be,you must prove it". Jesus didn't take any offense but said in John 10:36-38;
"Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him".
So didn't Jesus prove Himself to the Jews? Of course He did through is Words and mostly through signs - miracles and wonders, that is, the works of the Father.
To claim you represent a kingdom, you must present infallible proofs. This did Jesus so very often: turning water into wine at a wedding, being His first given public sign (John 2:1-11). He raised the dead; He gave sight to the blind; He healed the sick, He cast out devils, etc. [Read John 9,11]..."And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." (John 20:30-31).
[Note:  Signs are supposed to be as numerous as the "stars of heaven". Signs should be seen everywhere because believers are everywhere, even thou the deceiver (i.e, the devil) will fake many of these signs through his ministers (2 Cor 11:14)].

So now we see that without living (infallible) proofs, many will not believe that Jesus is the Son of God. This is the primary reason we are being given POWER! to become like Jesus! He gave us Power! to be His witnesses!"...But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,..". [Note: The Church received this power on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2].
This power is given to be His witnesses here on earth - to speak, declare and command with understanding  [I N] the authourity of  His name, for signs to follow. When we speak with the understanding of who we are in Christ, the bible says in John 5:25  "Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live."  It simply says that when we witness in His name, the dead ( i.e, the unbelievers and physically dead bodies) shall definitely "be touched" and saved by Him. We must have faith in what we say about Jesus Christ to others, for we are in the hour where whatsoever you say and declare in the name of Jesus Christ counts so very, very much.
Learn daily at His feet and be bold to declare His worth to the world! They are the ones He died for (John 3:16). . , Don't be idle.
