Faith Must Work.

Our Faith Must Work.

"Even so faith, IF IT HATH NOT WORKS, is dead, being alone." (Jas 2:17)

If you've received the promised gift of God, then you must work with it. Faith is not given for talks alone, it's given to change things and move mountains (Eph 2:8).

Question:
"Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?" (Jas 2:21). There is always something to be offered upon the Altar of sacrifice to and from God for our justification.

Here just two examples:
1- Communion:
an offering FROM God to you and I, and as we partake (work) of it through our faith, we are justified.

2- Worship:
an offering TO God from you and I, and as we partake (work) of it through our faith, we are justified.

Justified.

["Justification, in Christian theology, is God's act of removing the guilt and penalty of sin while at the same time declaring a sinner righteous through Christ's atoning sacrifice." Wikipedia]

Without justification no one can have access to God and life. God gave the world a Gift that comprise of Grace and Faith through His Son, Jesus Christ, that as anyone receive this gift of grace and faith, and confess the Lordship of Christ, THEY ARE SAVED FROM ETERNAL JUDGEMENT!

Putting the Gift to work is what brought you and I our assurance of salvation. But it doesn't end there, we must continue to operate and work this great Gift into every area of our lives to have life in abundance.

DON'T SIT DOWN ON YOUR GIFT, WORK IT HARD INTO YOUR WHOLE LIFE!
