Thy Will be done.
"And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth." Luke 11:2.
What is a Will?
[A will or testament is a legal declaration by which a person, the testator, names one or more persons to manage his/her estate and provides for the transfer of his property at death. Wikipedia]
Therefore, a Will is a prearranged transfer of wealth, property, etc of a person or kingdom to other person/s at his death. It is a testament of declaration for the transfer of God's Eternal life ( i.e, the Holy Spirit) at the death of Christ.
The Will of the Father given by His Son in John 3:16, is for us to have eternal life (i.e, No more death.) is written in His Son and delivered unto us at the cross, for "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years." (Rev 20:6). This is our victory! [Note: I know many take the meaning of this scriptural reference to be the Rapture/2nd coming of Christ. But...it's just another way of looking at it. Carefully read the whole chapters of Rev 19 & 20 to "see".]
Our Sonship Right.
Then knowing this, it is therefore our right as believers, naming (i.e, bearing) the name of Christ, to have access to God's kingdom of power - the power to heal the world, and power to get wealth (Deut 24:8:18 "But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day."). The same LORD God is saying we SHOULD NOT forget to claim (i.e, pray with this understanding) our inherited rights of sonship (i.e, to Power!) declared in His covenant, and in His testament. And it is simply by Faith in Christ Jesus (Gal 3:18,22,26).
For Love's sake.
Since the first Adam lost his authourity, God has never stop loving man. So therefore, He made a way for us through His Son back to "life of glory". God demonstrated His love for us through His only Son, reaping more sons and daughters unto glory.
In conclusion, Mat 6:10 says,"Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." for then shall the Will of the Father be done on earth as in
heaven, because the kingdom of heaven is come to us through Christ. This is the victory the cross has wroth on our behalf. Walking in this light or understanding, is walking in faith and power.
