Salvation!
Our Heaven on Earth.
"After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." (Mat 6:9-10)
This seemingly simple prayer of Christ is a declaration of war!
It is like sounding the trumpet here on earth. It is a call to battle. A battle God has vowed to finish through His promised Seed, for our redemption (Gen 3:15). And now that we have this Seed in us, it's now a declaration of war anytime we pray this prayer for perfection. This is why the Devil is trying so very hard to avoid or delay this, but he can't."And
they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their
testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." Rev 12:11.
Who are these that overcame the devil? The citizens of heaven (i.e, the Brethren). The inhabitants and saviours from Zion."But
upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and
the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions...And saviours shall
come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall
be the LORD'S." Oba 1:17,21
Do you know that whenever
the righteous children of God becomes perfected in doing the Will
of the Father in this earth, there is holiness, which will usher in the
powerful manifest presence of God Almighty!? This on the other hand, invariably means the end of the kingdom of darkness ( i.e, kingdom of evil and ignorance). And as the body of Christ, the more we perfect the Will of the Father here on earth, the quicker it is to the end, the end of the evil kingdom. The beginning and expansion of the kingdom of God marks the end of that of darkness..."And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever." Dan 2:44.
Why Am I saying this?
Rev 12:7-10 says, "And
there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the
dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast
out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the
whole world: HE WAS CAST OUT INTO THE EARTH, and his angels were cast
out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, NOW IS COME
SALVATION,...".
[Note: It is very important you read the whole chapter of Rev 12 to have the whole picture.
Salvation, according to Webster means: (1). The act of saving; preservation from destruction, danger or great calamity. (2). Appropriately in theology, the redemption of man from the bondage of sin and liability to eternal death, and the conferring on him everlasting happiness. This is the great salvation. (3). Deliverance from enemies; victory. Exo 14. (4). Remission of sins, or saving graces. Luke 19."]
The Devil has lost every battle over all of his strongholds ANYWHERE the blood is declared. The earth is "the last destination and habitation" of the Devil before the final judgement, and it's a step closer to the lake of fire to him. Therefore, if we "the brethren" that are in Christ, baptized into His death and resurrection, should "see" ourselves as Christ is in heaven, then we are victorious already. This is why the loud voice in heaven declared, saying "Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." Rev 12:10-11.
My conclusion is this, our holiness is in perfectly doing the Will of the Father here on earth, enabling Christ to finally put the devil where he belongs - the lake of fire, which I believe is beneath the earth, the footstool of the Father in heaven(Isa 66:1).
